Zooomy's Hyaluronic Acid supplement helps mobility, giving the zooomies back

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is an ingredient commonly found in face creams and serums, but it’s a naturally occurring compound in all moveable joints, that’s not just in humans, but dogs and cats too!

Its role is to prevent the bone in knees, hips and shoulders from grinding together. Helping keep dogs and cats’ mobile for longer by supporting the synovial fluid in their moveable joints.

Acting like a gel, HA’s natural ‘elasticity’ works like a shock absorber reducing friction between these bones, whilst delivering vital nutrients to the surrounding cartilage.

It’s sadly an inevitability that HA production depletes as dogs and cats age!  As both my dogs, Prudence and Mr Binks, and my cat, Baggy are seniors, I was very interested to integrate Zooomy’s ‘long chain’ Hyaluronic Acid with added Vitamin C to their diets.

Prudence my miniature bull terrier is 11. Over the years, as a very bouncy individual, she has had many ‘over enthusiastic’ moments, one of which resulted in causing her slipping kneecap. Giving Prudence a ‘skip’ in her stride, it didn’t affect her joie de vivre.  We managed it with regular acupuncture, red light therapy, supplements and a fresh whole nutrient dense diet. Despite her ‘skip’ being sporadic, on adding Zooomy, her stride is now consistently sound.

Mr Binks, my re-homed English Toy Terrier is heading to his 15th birthday.  He was born with a degenerative bone condition called Legg Calves Perthes disease. When I re-homed him aged two years, his affected hip joint had already been removed. He hadn’t received any rehabilitation.

So, he has enjoyed a lot of acupuncture, massage, Physiotherapy, red light therapy, key supplements and a nutrient dense raw balanced and complete diet.  Being a lightweight, slim breed and only nine inches high, Mr Binks has remained agile and uncompromised, without the need for a ‘hip replacement’.

He’s also been taking Zooomy for nearly a year now, and people are shocked to learn he’s 14. I’m pleased to say that since adding Zooomy, he very rarely carries his affected leg, and using it to maintain strong, healthy muscles is a priority.

With Bags, my cat, Vets guessed his age as around seven or nine years. That was three years ago. So, he could be 12 or maybe even older! He’d had a rough ride in life. He landed on my doorstep as a stray (no microchip) in a very bad state: afraid, bald, and emaciated. He’s unrecognisable now, with a thick black and very shiny coat, and loves sitting on my shed roof.

Zooomy’s long chain HA is designed to be absorbed efficiently. HA moves around the body through the Lymphatic system, (in the same ways fats do) naturally being absorbed where it’s needed the most.

When inflammatory processes either caused by the ageing process, wear and tear, or from an injury, set in, they trigger an uncontrolled breakdown of HA.  This is down to a decreased pH and reactive oxygen species (ROS), which can lead to a loss in the thickness and viscosity of the HA barrier. In turn, may contribute to or exacerbate Osteoarthritis.

HA is available in foods like offal and egg shell, but, with 80 per cent of Britain’s dogs and cats eating ultra-processed foods, it could mean a lot of pets are open to a HA deficiency. Even being fed on nutrient dense foods, I’ve seen how a concentrated boost of HA can make a huge difference.!

In a nutshell, I really do recommend supplementing your dog and cat’s diet with Zooomy’s long chain Hyaluronic Acid! Its peace of mind knowing that its ‘Vet formulated’ and created to help and fill a ’gap’ between other joint support supplements.
