  • A Dog's Life with Anna Webb joined by Kayla Lichten - The Barker Book Awards

    Anna is joined by Kayla Lichten, founder of the inaugural Barker Book Awards. As the first awards dedicated exclusively to books about dogs! Featuring four categories : Fiction, Non Fiction, Children’s and the Classic Award.
    With a donation of £1,000.00 to an independent charity from this award category, The Barker Book Awards is set to celebrate dogs in literature both past and present, whilst giving back to dogs in need. 
  • A Dog's Life with Anna Webb joined by PC Colin Nash & PD Elvis

    This week Anna is joined by PC Colin Nash and his PD (Police Dog) Elvis. As the proud winners of the Rising Star Award at the inaugural Thin Blue Paw Awards, two year old Elvis is not Colin’s first PD, but he is his first Labrador. It’s perhaps no surprise that Elvis is excelling at being a passive and proactive detection dog. He was bred by the Metropolitan Police before joining the City of London Police Dog Unit. 
  • A DOG'S LIFE with Anna Webb. Toby Rose founder of the FIDOs talks about this year's canine film awards

    Cinema journalist, and founder of the Palm Dog, Toby Rose joins Anna to talk about the up coming For Incredible Dogs Onscreen (FIDO) Awards 2021, recognising the vital role of canines in films, before the Palm Dog awards to be staged in July at the Cannes Film Festival. With awards categories including: Mutt Moment, Blockbuster Bowser, Comedy Canine, Rom Com Rover, Historical Hound and best Dog Dox, the FIDOs highlights the steadfast role dogs have played in our lives through lockdowns and the pandemic, not least on the big (or small) screen. In line with covid social restrictions, the FIDOs will run as a pop up in London’s groovy Coal Drops Yard, behind King’s Cross, between 21-24 May with the awards ceremony on Sunday 23rd May. All the stunning prizes are designed and made in London by Creature Clothes.
