  • And They called it 'Puppy Love'!

According to Psychology Today, the human mind naturally creates the need for people to develop close relationships as a means for survival.

This basic instinct is what drives people to develop close relationships – and those relationships extend to our furry friends. Unlike human relationships, which can be complex and fraught with expectations, our pets offer a simple, pure form of companionship.

One of the primary reasons we become so emotionally attached to our pets is the unconditional love and acceptance they provide.

  • A Dog's Life with Anna Webb on the XL Bully Judicial Review

We’re  joined by Amber Ellis  theofficialbullycollective and Felix Robinson PetTrustUK talking about the urgent fundraising appeal initiated by Sophie Coulthard #dontbanmelicenseme
The funds raised so far have allowed for Barrister John Cooper QC  to be appointed and serve Thérèse Coffey, EFRA and DEFRA, with a Pre Action Protocol Letter in Judicial Review.  The capital is to fund the Judicial Review on the XL Bully ban as the case proceeds. With a tight deadline, groups are campaigning to raise the remaining funds to ensure the suit goes forward. As part of the banning so many owners face the fact that the ban is based on measurements.
  • Bone Broth is isotonic -its a cellular energy drink

Bone broth is ‘en trend’ at the moment that’s not just for dogs but for humans too!

That’s indeed for good reason as Bone broth is one of the oldest and simplest natural superfoods, known for centuries for its health boosting effects.

Once considered a bit of a ‘eccentric’ thing to do many of us, like myself, have made our own bone broth. It is a bit of a faff to be honest, and the aroma of chicken whilst exciting to the dogs, it is a bit pungent.

As Paleoridge has just launched its range of Bone Broth in three varieties: Lamb, Beef and Chicken, its been wonderful to have a choice of broths just delivered. I trust Paleoridge’s ethics, and that the bones used are antibiotic and hormone  free, and that the water used is filtered.

  • It's Dog Dental Month !

When I was invited onto BBC Radio 4’s ‘You and Yours’ programme recently to discuss Dog Dental Month. Presenter, Winifred Robison, spoke to Dr Karolina Enlund, who led a Swedish study into dog dental health, sent out to over 200,000 dog owners. The research found that the vast majority of pet owners do not brush their dog's teeth at all, and Dog Dental Month is about providing easy and cost-effective methods to clean your dog's teeth at home.

Choose between a worm egg count, a lungworm count or their combo worm and lungworm count tests. Kate explains why there’s also a test for Giardia, and why #TestBeforeYouTreat is a manta embraced more commonly in the EU.
