This week Anna is joined by Martin Williams, the founder of London’s premier steak houses, M Restaurant and Gaucho. He chats about why he wanted to open his restaurant’s doors to dogs at a time when the concept of ‘Dog Friendly’ hadn’t reached the mainstream.

Proud of his decision to incorporate special ‘six-leg’ menus and events for dogs and their people to enjoy, the space at the Victoria flagship restaurant lends itself perfectly being so spacious, it can easily accommodate a Christmas party of rover 80 Guide Dogs - just one of many events he’s hosted in aid of charity, and offering great fun for all alike.

It’s a sweet, juicy fruit comprising of 92% water (giving it top status on fruits with high water content) and has a nutrient density few fruits have. While it’s a preferred choice for people, it’s also a healthy and hydrating dog treat! As packed with nutrients and moisture as the watermelon is, there are some things to consider when offering a bite to your pooch. 

This week Anna is joined by Sarah Jones who rescued Bella eight years ago and soon discovered Bella was very nervous and reacted when her space was invaded by other people and dogs.

Realising that the majority of dogs display some sort of anxiety, and are reluctant to socialise with unknown doggies,  Sarah devised a range of yellow leads, collars, bandanas jackets in yellow , which is the colour recognised to highlight that your dog needs some space. Dogs in Yellow was born!

This week Anna is joined by Dale Nash from Pawable who chats about a new Collar-gen that’s been launched for dogs.

From the makers of a human collagen called So Body Co, the Collar-gen for dogs was inspired as customers would ask if they could give the human brand to their dogs. Being passionate about preventative care, and prolonging longevity, Anna couldn’t wait to find out more about this product, and discuss the benefits of Collagen as a supplement.

Zazie has a PhD in Psychology, and an Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour from International Cat Care. Her award winning book Wag was featured in episode: 53 of A DOG’S LIFE and similarly covers all the essentials and latest science to work out how to make your pet happy.

This week Anna is joined by Nadia Leguel founder of Wagit, championing dog friendly, Nadia is bringing her vision to  making it easy to find pubs, cafes, restaurants that are genuinely dog friendly.

The platform which also includes, groomers, pet boutiques, and more is designed with modern pet parents in mind. Wanting to take their pooches with them when out socialising, Wagit makes this so easy with hundreds of tested venues listed. Nadia and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel have spent months checking out places, being tipped off about new venues joining the dog friendly revolution. 

This week Anna is joined by Debbie Humphreys, the founder of Redhound for Dogs. As a small independent business, Debbie chats about why she set up her business to offer Whippets with a stylish, yet practical coats for wet , wintry walks.

We chat about her passion for the Whippet, her concerns as Whippets’ popularity has grown through the pandemic. The worry being Whippets may fall victim to unscrupulous breeders, or to pet parents without the experience to take on a ancient sight hound.

This week Anna is joined by Sarah Hollinshead, Head of Brand & Content at Attest, which is one of the largest consumer SaaS platforms. We’re chatting about a new study that reveals that Brits are still barking mad about dogs. Flying in the face of the soaring cost of living pet parents prioritise their pets and go the extra mile, notably taking the time to shop at their local pet boutique, rather than online.
